A graduate of James Madison University, Cary Kasdorf moved to the Raleigh area and began his career in the residential construction industry in 1974.  He quickly established his credentials as one of the Triangle's premier builders by designing and constructing many of the high-end luxury homes in Cary, North Carolina's prestigious Lochmere and MacGregor communities.

Working both independently and with other real estate developers over the span of the next twenty years, Kasdorf Construction designed and built hundreds of additional custom single-family homes, townhomes and apartment complexes in the market.

In 1995, Cary and thirty-year friend and business associate Noah Duncan, partnered together to form Highland Construction, Inc., in order to significantly strengthen and expand the company's scope of business operations in the region.  A natural partnership for the two, the new organization perfectly melded the business operations and financial savvy of health care executive, Noah Duncan, founder and CEO of Century Care Management and Pride of North Carolina, together with Cary Kasdorf's prowess in residential housing and community planning.
